About Puppy School Coventry

Having worked in the animal welfare, behaviour & training industry for over 8 years now, I decided to become a puppy school tutor after going through the process of training my own two rescue dogs, and seeing how their less than ideal start in life has affected them. This emphasised to me just how important the start of a dog's life is, and the effect it has on them going on to lead happy and full lives! I wish my dogs got the training that puppy school can offer when they were puppies, and so I decided I wanted to give that to others!
I started my career with completing my undergraduate degree in Veterinary Physiotherapy, which then led me to complete a post graduate diploma in Clinical Animal Behaviour. I have then gone on to complete the extensive training provided by Gwen Bailey (Founder and Director of Puppy School and internationally renowned dog trainer, behaviourist and author) to become a qualified Puppy School Tutor. I am constantly taking part in CPD opportunities through the year plan and to continue expanding and keeping up to date with my knowledge and to work towards accreditation as a Registered Animal Training Instructor with the Animal Behaviour Training Council.
I spend the rest of my time working for an equine welfare and rescue charity, and share my home with my two rescue dogs, Jess the springer spaniel, and Jake, a large cross breed ex street dog from Bosnia!
